Taipei, Taiwan – 6th November 2023 – ADATA Technology, the world's leading brand for industrial-grade embedded storage, today announced that its mSATA IMSS31C industrial-grade SSDs have been expanded into a series of 112-layer 3D NAND (BiCS5) 31C SSDs suitable for applications including network security, industrial computers, AI medical, smart transportation, self-service retail, and edge servers. These SSDs feature low latency, large capacity, and stable random read and write speeds, making them an excellent choice for industrial systems in a new era of AI storage.
mSATA IMSS31C industrial-grade SSDs employ 112-layer 3D TLC flash memory developed by WD and KIOXIA, with a maximum capacity of up to 1TB. SATA 2.5-inch, M.2 2280, M.2 2242 and other specifications and capacity options are also available to fully meet the needs of industry customers. 112-layer 3D NAND (BiCS5) 31C series SSDs with DRAM buffer significantly improve on random read and write performance and SSD response speed. At the same time, these SSDs support intelligent temperature control and frequency modulation (Thermal Throttling) technology, effectively preventing the inherent danger of data loss caused by storage device overheating through a progressive reduction in SSD transmission performance. Furthermore, a LDPC ECC error correction mechanism and End-to-End Data Protection technology ensure data transmission reliability and improve data integrity, making this series of SSDs suitable for batch data transmission application scenarios.
The 112-layer 3D NAND (BiCS5) 31C series SSDs are fully mass-produced. ADATA Industrial’s independent R&D team has taken into serious account the harsh operating environment common to many industrial applications and offers a variety of diversified solutions including wide temperature solutions such as "extended temperature" (-20 ℃ ~75 ℃) and "industrial temperature" (-40 ℃ ~ 85 ℃) to ensure the quality, reliability, and durability of products.
